School Age Programs

Ages 5 - 12

The Lilliputian School’s School Age Programs are for children ages 5–12. Our school-aged programs are 100% outdoors. The children spend their time at TimberNook engaging in a new and different, rich play experiences each week. The children are encouraged to think for themselves, create and work together with peers, building skills like; resilience, problem solving, collaboration, confidence, independence and many more!


Fall TimberNook

Enrollment is now open for our Fall 2026 TimberNook After School Programs for children ages 5–12.

TimberNook offers child-led, outdoor experiences designed to give children time and space to explore, create, move, and connect with others in nature. Our school-age programs are open to both Lilliputian alumni and children from the wider community.

The Lilliputian School is your local licensed TimberNook provider!

Enrollment

Programs are offered on select Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the fall. Families may enroll for the full session or select individual weeks.

We accept NH State Scholarship and Maine Child Care Assistance.

TimberNook provides grand scale, multi-sensory, play opportunities, that engage the mind and the whole child. The Lilliputian School-Aged Programs offers children 5-12 years’ time to explore, create, and move through hands-on, open-ended experiences. Inspired by TimberNook’s nature-based approach, this program emphasizes play, creativity, and connection to the outdoors.

Our School-Aged Programs are a natural continuation for Lilliputian preschool alumni and a welcoming option for elementary-aged children who benefit from time outdoors. Sessions are often scheduled on afternoons when local schools have early release.
